This year's edition of the World Music Mamaia festival brings together boreal brilliance of the north and the torrid passion of latin music. A spectacular event brought to you by Constanţa City Hall and the Dynamic Art Association.
Värttinä, the most acclaimed Finnish World Music group, starts off the festival with a show brimming with energy that melds northern folklore with pop and rock elements. The following night, an explosion of color with Grammy nominees LA-33 from Columbia. Their music will make the whole seaside dance the salsa on the 25th of July. The festival ends with a new surprise, avant-garde tango. A spectacle for all the senses that combines dramatic visuals with the music of the Argentinean group Astillero.
